What the shop does
Anything fuel-injected goes on the dyno. The bike runs on a drum that measures real horsepower while the fuel map is adjusted, pull after pull, until it is right.

ServiceWhat a dyno is
A dynamometer, the dyno, is a drum the rear wheel sits on. The bike runs through the gears on it while sensors read how much power actually reaches the wheel and what the engine is breathing. The tuner watches that chart and adjusts the fuel map, the table that tells the injectors how much fuel to add at every throttle position and rpm.
"It's the only shop on the West Coast with a motorcycle dyno," the owner says. Come see it for yourself.
How dyno tuning worksStreet bikes we tune
Carbureted bikes still get service and repair; the dyno is for fuel-injected engines with a map to change.
Reviews
The shop's Google listing is brand new and has no reviews yet. If Kings tuned your bike, a review helps the next rider on the coast find the dyno.

Questions riders ask
Yes. Dyno time is booked in blocks so the bike gets a proper baseline, the adjustments and the final pulls without being rushed. Use the Book page, or call or text the shop.
Any fuel-injected street bike. Harley-Davidson is the shop's specialty, but Indian, Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Triumph and BMW all get tuned. Carbureted bikes get service and repair, not a dyno tune.
Almost always. A freer-breathing engine on the stock map runs lean, which means heat, popping on decel and less power than the parts can make. A dyno tune matches the fuel map to the new parts.
Yes. The shop is a wholesale dealer through Western Power Sports, so most aftermarket Harley parts can be ordered, installed and tuned in one visit. Ask on the Parts page or when you book.
Plan on leaving the bike for the day. The baseline, the adjustments and the final runs take time, and the shop would rather do it right than fast. Call for an estimate for your bike.
